About Michael Sinkolongo

My name is Michael Sinkolongo and I am a full-stack software developer with ten(10) years worth of experience. I have worked on multiple software projects, ranging from student information systems, social networking sites to reading applications.

I love to create. That is my passion and my drive. I fell in love with software development because it allows me to create. It helps me realise my dreams, especially in the area of writing. One of my software development projects revolves around creating an enabling environment for writers to work in, showcase their work, and make a living. I am ever working to make this a reality, especially for my fellow writers in Zambia, my country.

Coding is just one of my creative outlets. I love to write as well. I have written dozens of stories and I am sharing them with the world through utushimi.com, my ongoing project to showcase the best of Zambian Literature to the world.

I have always loved helping other people to hone their skills, especially in coding. And this here blog is my own little contribution to the ever-changing world of software development. It is not easy to find exactly what you need on the web to finish that project or get that job done. I hope that through this website, you will get all the hope you need. In one place.

I have not always been a coder, you know. I was first introduced to programming at uni; and it did not make any sense. I generally loved computers, but programming seemed to be a beast from another planet! However, eventually, it all started to make sense and the rest is history!
